Raqsafara Bellydance Troupe (formerly Gypsy Sisters)
takes its name from the arabic
words for dance (raqs) and travel (safara) and takes its
inspiration from dance and musical styles around the world.
We blend a variety of sources
into a personalized bellydance style grounded in Egyptian and
American Tribal Style Bellydance. We have a wonderful
time sharing our love of this beautiful, expressive and
tasteful art form, and have been performing in Central
Oregon and beyond since 2001.
Raqsafara is a frequent performer in events
sponsored by the High Desert Bellydance Guild.
