Highly Recommended DVD: "American
Bellydancer" a fun documentary about the beginnings of the
Bellydance Superstars - has great cultural info on bellydance
in America and should be of interest to any bellydance
student.

The High Desert Bellydance Guild has a library with lots of
instructional materials and music. Available to members only,
see their website for how to join and to see library holdings.

Neena and Veena - their videos and DVDs are widely available
and good for beginners. The public library has them, also
the High Desert Bellydance Guild library.
International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance (IAMED)
produces lots of good instructional DVDs.
Mesmera's Garden - a beautifully filmed production with tons of
material. Faster paced, but useful for a beginner.
If you are a Netflix user, check out their bellydance dvds -
some are better than others, check out the reviews for what
others thought of them. They have quite a few beginning
level dvds.They also have "American Bellydancer", highly
recommended!
