Kadesha
Kadesha is our newest member, and comes to us form the Seattle
area where she was an active bellydancer for over 8 years. We
are glad to have her!
Sheba

Sheba comes to us with a dance background in
ballet and Polynesian. She originally began studying
cabaret style belly dance but soon realized the tribal
concept--both the dance style and costuming--was what really
resonated with her and made her move. She
currently coaches the Gypsy Sisters on tribal group
performance. She is interested in including flamenco and
Indian style moves in her repertoire.
Nalia

Nalia is engaged in learning various women's
dance forms from around the world to blend into her Egyptian
solo belly dance style. She is exploring Flamenco as well
as folkoric Middle Eastern dance styles. She enjoys
the dynamics of improvisation and the camaraderie in
American tribal group performance. She is a former co-chair of
the High Desert Bellydance Guild.
Tasmeen
Tasmeen is intrigued by folkloric and gypsy
style dance as well as American tribal. Her background as
a music teacher makes her a natural on the zills and
appreciative of the rhythmic intricacies of Middle Eastern
music. She has done choreography and costume design and
production for the troupe. Tasmeen is a former membership
coordinator for the High Desert Bellydance Guild.
Gardenia
Gardenia is trained in ballet, jazz and ballroom dance and has
recently been a devoted student of Aziza's. She finds the
flowing movements and intricate isolations of Egyptian Cabaret
style bellydance mesmerizing. Veilwork is her specialty and
focus of study.
Randy
Randy is our principal musician. He plays doumbek,
ney, and has taken up closet zurna practice. He
dreams of forming a local Middle Eastern Music ensemble.
